What We Do
Everyday, cats and dogs across New Jersey are abandoned on busy and dangerous streets and forced to face the hardships of a stray life. Many others are left at animal shelters with just a slim chance of finding a new home.
On average, 85 cats and dogs are killed every day in New Jersey shelters alone. That’s over 31,OOO a year!
Final Hope is an animal rescue organization with a mission to provide help to New Jersey’s abandoned and neglected cats and dogs.
To do that, our operations focus on two important programs:
Cat and Dog Rescue Programs
Utilizing our foster home and volunteer network, Final Hope provides temporary boarding, socialization, and veterinary care to the abandoned cats and dogs, with a final mission to find them permanent homes and loving, caring and responsible owners. Learn more by following links below:

We strive to improve the lives of outdoor cats by advocating Trap-Neuter-Release as the humane and effective way of the feral cat population control. Our mission is to spay/neuter local feral cat colonies, provide support and low-cost or no-cost spay/neuter services to colony caregivers, as well as community outreach and education to help many our state’s stray cats.
